How To Back Up Blogger Blog Posts and Comments

Backing up your Blogger blog even if it is once in a week is highly recommended if you really care about your blog. Although Blogger blogs are not easily hacked but Blogger can disable or delete your Blog without warning you. Mind you, Blogger automated classification system can disable your blog without you doing anything wrong. I experienced this recently.


If such happens and you have a back up file of your blog, you can easily create a new blog and restore the content of your old blog. Besides, if you decide to move to Wordpress, the .xml back up file is all you need to restore your blog posts and comments to the Wordpress blog.

Backing up your Blogger blog is very easy. You can get it done easily using the "export" feature of Blogger. The Blogger tool lets you save a copy of your blog on your hard drive. The export tool will not back up your Blogger template though, just your posts (including drafts) and comments.....

As at the time of publishing this post, Facebook has upgraded the comment form with the "reply" option, while also enabling the admin to receive facebook notifications anytime comments are made on blogs via the facebook comment form. Hence, today, I will explain to you how to add the new facebook comment form to blogger/blogspot blogs.

In this tutorial, it is not compulsory you disable your blogger comment form but I will advise you  to back up your blogger template before carrying out this installation.

How To Show Any Gadget on Blogger Mobile Template

If you configure your Blogger blog to show mobile template on mobile devices, the widgets listed below are the ones that are displayed by default:

• Header
• Blog
• Profile
• PageList
• AdSense
• Attribution

If you want any other Blogger widget to display on the mobile view of your Blogger blog, you will have to activate a "custom" mobile template instead of using one of the default Blogger mobile templates.

In addition to that, you will have to add mobile=’yes’ attribute to the tag of the widget, right inside your blog's html.

The "mobile" attribute lets you control which of the widgets on your Blogger blog will be available in mobile view. It can be 'default', 'yes', 'no', or 'only'.

Fund PayPal in Nigeria With Access Bank Visa ATM Card

It's no longer news that using PayPal now in Nigeria is possible without having to change IP or use a USA address.

Recently, I published a tutorial on how to open a PayPal account in Nigeria with GTBank MasterCard. Ever since then, I've been getting series of mails and calls on how to fund Nigeria PayPal account and also if it's possible to get verified on PayPal with Access Bank Visa card.


Well, getting a PayPal account verified with Access Bank Visa card works perfectly. In fact, I received my PayPal verification code instantly when I confirmed the card on PayPal. No delay at all compared to when I verified my PayPal with GTBank card, during which I have to wait for long to get the 4-digit PayPal code.

The interesting part is that I was able to pay with the Access bank Visa card without confirming it when PayPal prompted me to use another card at a time the site where I wanted to make payment was declining my GTBank card which is the card I used to verify my PayPal account. It was after I used the Visa card to pay for two transactions, I decided to confirm it using the PayPal code - and the verification was instant.
